Another bow and a couple questions.

Hey guys, I got this a few weeks ago..

My plan was to have two bows, my Fred Bear Truth shooting paintballs and the Drenalin to shoot arrows.

It took me a long time to get the Bear shooting sweet and the drop away rest took a lot of patience to get right.. now the dilemma is, after I whack all the gear from that bow onto the Drenalin, is it guaranteed to shoot as accurately as the Bear does at the moment? I just didn't expect it to shoot so well being such an inexpensive bow!

Mate, that Truth is an awesome bow (I remember when you posted up your pics of it) and a bow doesn't need to be expensive to be a goodun. It may not be as flash and trendy as a Dren, X-Force, Marquis or whatever. In fact it being inexpensive compared to other more popular bows might have more to do with Bear trying to grab a bit of market share back from Mathews, Diamond, Bowtech etc. than it has to do with the quality of the bow. Anyway that's not really what you are asking about.

When you rape all the gear from the poor old Bear and put it on the Dren, you will be almost starting over, and you will have to work just as hard tuning the Dren as you did with the Truth. That said, a bow like your Dren will reward you for every bit of tuning you succeed in getting right (just as your Bear did). I am a little sad for your Truth but the Dren will work for you too, an it looks the goods.

Jeez here I was thinking that I was making a big upgrade.. maybe I'll wait until I blood something before I retire her to shooting paintballs.. or maybe just setup both to shoot arrows!

I really LOVE the feel of the Truth when I'm shooting it, solid fast and quiet.
