just like to post a very big thank you to ssga who came up the other day. i took him out to one of my haunts where he taught me alot about deer hunting. he also got me within shooting distance to my first fallow (bow hunting) and had chances to shoot a respectable buck or some freezer fillers, but declined. thanks heaps chris, hopefully soon ill be posting in with pics of that buck or even a young one for some meat.

the fallow i could have/should have shot.

well today i went out again, having used the skills that chris taught me i tracked a mob of about ten deer across the country side for a few hours, never being able to get close enough for a shot :( but as luck would have it on the way back we stumbled across 4 little does. i crept to 40mtrs behind a tree, drew back settled my pin and the arrow went high :( . oh well there is allways next time. here are some pics.
