View Full Version : Broadheads
Does anyone ever notic that after walking around with your arrows in the back quiver they start to dull? because i know my heads are not as sharp when i pull one out to fire as when i sharpened them the night before? Might have to wrap somthing around each head before i put it in?

nah mate i don't use a back quiver i use a bow quiver but i suppose it's from the constant rubbing on the material as you walk that causes them to dull? maybe put a foam insert in your back quiver?
BB05 has the idea Macka put some foam like whats in your bow quiver down the bottom of the back quiver and it should hold the arrows apart and they are still easy to retrieve when needed.
Thanx i will give that a try there is just some carpet in there atm.

get some of that high density rubber foam or cut up ya brothers boogie board and shove your broadheads right into it.
they wont clatter about when you are stalking ,they stay sharp and
reduces your chance of loosing arrows when trees and bushes pull your
arrows out when on walk about.
