Good stalk blown by a roo...

To keep it short and sweet..the young fella and i spent a good hour,crawling flat on our bellies thru an olive grove...slowly approaching 2 does that were hanging in a pine windbreak...at 40m i thought about it..nah..better go a bit more..got to about 30m undetected,and as i raised to draw a large roo popped up in the next row about 5m in front....the rest is history...oh well it was good fun and great experience for my boy...just hope the roo isnt about next week.

I know the feeling, i have lost countless opportunities because of the roos!!!! and there are so many too!!!

Just think of it this way, you stalked into 5 yards of a roo and 30 yards of a couple of deer, that in itself is a great achievement buddy..........
