I don«ÉŸt have a problem shooting anything that could eat me! I Think that hunting a dangerous animal would be a real adrenaline buzz but i would want to make sure that my shot was perfect!

I would have no problems shooting a bear, I have eaten them several times, not bad in a camp oven but they are very greasy, I think our wild pigs are much better...Glenn...

For those who haven't seen it this is a good trip report on hunting Grizzly Bears from the ground with a recurve.

I'd love to shoot a brown bear under the right situations.

Black bear wouldn't have a problem I think I'll get there one day. With black bears in good numbers in most inhabited parts, a guided hunt isn't that exy.

They are in such good numbers in NE USA that last year they had an open season on them, all you needed was a general game ticket (like $25) and you could head out into the scrub and take one.

Only in self defense.

Would rather pay for an Elk or Deer hunt.

I would shoot one as long as it wasn't chased up a tree by hounds as they do in the states. Can't see the sport in that. :?

Would love to hunt bear and have looked into it. It does not seem to be that deer just the plain fairs etc bump it up. grizzly bear i think are more of a thrill as i have been told that the black bear are like our boars, if you get in the way of a wounded 1 you are in trouble other than that they steer clear of humans but the old grizzly might just no like the look of you. And as Kane said it would only be under fair chase rules
