Top weekend with a good friend

Spent the last weekend with a friend I hadnt seen for a couple of years so it was great to catch up and show him a pretty good part of this country. Its pretty much the usual pigs, buff and barra with a few cattle thrown in. We were in amongst a mob of about 20 pigs within half an hour of arriving at the place and its probably not a good time to sight the bow in but anyway nailed a couple then just travelled around and nailed some more pigs and downed a few brews.

The farmer gave us directions to his secret spot but we couldnt find it instead we found another spot that wasnt bad and nailed some nice pan size fish.

This fired the farmer up so the next day he took us out in his boat to another spot and we allowed him to take some pics of us with some more fish.

There were heaps of other pics but these were probably the best but yeah had a great time with Michael and now i have to get in a car with Benno for the next couple of days and put up with him trying to drop a buff so maybe a couple of pics this time next week. Should be a good story too.

CM - Their technical name is the Scaled Common brown trouser python.
Not posionous but has a nasty bite.....

Unreal pics.That is one serious set of tusks!Almost looks like he has no grinders or they are a set from another pig just stuck in his mouth.Great buff photo.What do you drink Lemmi so i know what to bring when i get to Darwin :)

Top stuff, great boar and the close-up of that young buff is an excellent picture. He's a fair size olive python you got there too. Bet he didn't take to kindly to a bit of handling.

Was an awsome weekend (apart from my shooting:(:(:(:(), always good to get back up there, just a bit to long between visits.

They new toy has arrived so think another trip will be in order for the cristening......
