Had a weeks work down in the Snowy Mountains and managed to get a few hunts in. By far my favourite climate to hunt with -8 most mornings and the frost not lifting throughout the day, certainly keeps to foxes looking good.
Gotta love these dead crisp mornings

Batesy came down from canberra for the morning and came very close to securing a good fallow buck, I stalked a mob of 4 does to 30 meters but a good shot never presented.

Great place to hunt with good feed around the river and plenty of platypus.

A great memory for me on this hunt was stalking along the river bank and taking the white billy as head feed on the other side, then catching John out the corner of my eye stalking out into the wider part of the river up stream waist deep in the river, standing up on a rock and coming to full draw and taking the grey billy.

I called this good dog fox off the remains of a bird, he dropped within 5 meters after a g5 striker entered his chest. Measures 10 11/16 top doggy dog
