Well today i went for a walk for the first time at a new rabbit spot. The terain of the property looked as good as it gets for rabbits.
Dad droped me off at 3:00pm and after half an hour of walking i not only didnt see any rabbits but there was not a single trace of rabbit activity on the ground.
I sat down for a drink and half way through there was a sound just off to my left that i thought was a limb or something falling of a tree because it was that loud. But when i looked i couldnt see anything untill i looked up and saw this...

Inside was a big wedgie (it left before i could take the photo).
I thought this was prity special. After a minute or two the wedgie came back and he noticed me and started flying around ontop of me and i was obviously not wanted and so i left.
About 10 mins later i just happened to look up and i saw this...

Obviously all these wedgies had wipped out the rabbits and i knew that the rest of the property would be much the same, so i called home for a pickup but nobody was there so i called dads mobile and he said that they were at our other property about an hour away and that they wouldnt be finnished any time soon.
So the only option was to walk home... all 6 k's home!
About 2 k's in, i was in some bush that i never knew existed and it also seamed like a good rabbit spot. I came over a hill and infrount of me was a vally that had big chunks of dead blackberries all over it. I kept walking and suddenly i saw a rabbit run behind a bush about 40m away. I went into stalk mode for the first time of the day and i eventually made my way all the way to the bush where i walked round the other side but the rabbit had gone.
I was so busy consentrating of this one bush that i wasnt looking around me and when i turned around and looked into the valley i saw a piece of heaven!
The space in the valley is about 8 acers and within it, i kid you not was about 50 rabbits! They had all seen me come round the bush that i was at and they were all running like mad!
What a sight it was.
But thats just the start...
We all know about ginger rabbits yes? their prity rare yes? maby one in every few hundred?
Well out of these 50 rabbits about HALF were ginger!!! obviously they have been breading the ginger gein.
Whats even more wered is there were about 3 white ones!
Even better, they were prity tame because neally all of them stopped for a look and stayed as i made my way down the hill.
Unfortunatly i was coming in on the worst possable angle and there was no way i would get within shooting range of any.
Even worse i took of my webbing off at the start of the first stalk and inside was the cammera so no live game pics but i took a pic of the valley...
