I wasnt sure if it was legal or not by bow..but i know in nsw you need a gamebird g lic to hunt them with the correct methods...ie guns...

Lemmi is in the NT David, where is there is a permitted season on the geese... this does NOT apply to other areas of Australia.

Was camped a ways east of Darwin a couple of years back, about to sit down to a meal with a few locals who had brought a nice fat goose. I asked if they had used trad methods to get the goose....the older lady started giggleing and said, "No way...we use that one shotgun there!"". Cracks me up everytime I think of it.....

yeah well i was breeding ducks and this wild goose was giving me a hell of a lot of trouble... it sort of became in competition with my drakes and killed them and thought it owned all my duck so one day when i was rounding up my ducklings for market this goose thought it would come too so i pushed it in to the cage and dispatched it... i think i had a pretty good reason
