In a pawn shop today I found a couple of cheap recurves for $110-$125.
They seem pretty cool, and I might like to have one for a backup, in case something happens to my compound on a hunt, or so that I can bowfish without being paranoid of the saltwater.
its got the added benefit of being something I can loan to my girlfriend so that she can have a little bit of target action, so that we may share a hobby for once.

The first was kinda old looking, dark, no arrow rest, Called a Diamond-Pearson "Hunter" and was 57# (obviously I'd just keep this one for myself) was 56" long or something, will need a new string, someone has like, tied a bit of cable onto it for a string, and looks finger cut-tastic $110

The second one I saw there was confusing, simply labeled a "Graduate" bow.
Looks like it has a much more modern style riser, is 64", 38#
Didnt seem to have a brand name, just the label "graduate"
Had a normal string in ok condition, was $125, no rest or sights, but seemed to have metal threaded sections for attaching a sight/weights to.

Both were amazingly light and look like a bunch of fun to shoot.
I'm not too aure about what the price of second hand bows should be, Prices seem to range from 50-700$ for trad bows,
The price seems ok, but I'd hate to buy them and realise they are trash when I get them home.
What should I expect to be paying for a second hand beginner trad bow?
Also, they are recurves, and are being stored strung up in reverse, so they're not totally under strain, but a little for a long time would probably be bad, yes?
They've probably only been there for about a month like that.
