View Full Version : Fallow in the hills

With a weekend off ahead, me and my mate Danny decided to head into the hills with the recurves and see if we could take a fallow or two.
The first day we didn't really see much at all, but early on the second morning we ran into a small herd of fallow in some thick timber.
Danny got a stalk in on two spikers, and sat down and waited for them to feed in towards him.
A few minutes later one of the spikers headed up the hill at him, and when it turned its head to look at its mate further down the hill, Danny sent a shaft his way taking him nicely, 70 meters later and he was down :)

Butchering him out
The next day we had a lot of fun on my grandfathers property chasing some bunnies around, and I got a shot at a feral cat from 30 meters, but dropped it short :(
I still managed to take a nice rabbit on last light
