hunting ballarat

gday a question for use is there any good state forrests in ballarat worth a look at for deer or pigs prefered. not sure were to look or to try hunting dont really wont to waste time walking through bush if there is nothing even there. any info will be greatly appreciated. cheers

doubt that there is any pigs up there, and not to sure about deer

If others have done all the leg work, i doubt they are going to let everyone know where there deer spot is.
My suggestion is, get out there and find the spots yourself. I might sound a bit tough, but remember, the hunters you are asking had to do just that.
Would you tell everyone where your deer hunting areas are?

There are still a fair few pigs and deer all around Ballarat etc its just there is a bit of land in between them. They are also fairly shy due to the pressure from doggers as its an easy day trip from the Melbourne area for a hunt.
