View Full Version : Thanks for the weekend
I would like to thank Bowmancam for a fantastic weekend and inviting us to his great hunting property.
Everyone had a good time and i'm sure would have learn't something from the wealth of knowledge a group hunt like this can offer.
The weekend was one of the best weekends i have spent hunting (walking) in a long time.
If an opportunity like this ever arises again I would recommend you all try your hardest to make it to a group hunt.
Thanks a million Cam

Yeh Pete, there is still one of my arrows, that was a pass through, sticking out of some soil on the side of that hill. After 3 seperate attempts to retrieve it I decided an arrow isn't worth the risk of a fall down that hill

Hell yeh big thanks to Cam for a top weekend. Big thanks to the other boys too for teaching me so much, had a great time top bunch of people to sit around a fire with. A wealth of knowledge to be shared and i cant wait to keep learning. Damn i'd love to see a video of wellsy stalking in on that "bedded down" goat.
it was a perfect stalk though Coach, even if I do say so myself.

Well what a top weekend!
When organising an event like this you lose a bit of sleep hoping the accomodation will be ok, that everyone gets along and that there will be enough game around for your guests. Well i'm extremely happy to say the whole weekend was a complete success. Plenty of goats, a comfy camp and a great bunch of blokes. Even 2 fellas getting their first trad kill! It was great to take bowriver on his first ever bowhunt, and although he didnt get a shot off it was a steep learning curve and i'm sure he picked up a lot for his future hunts.
I'd like to thank the boys who came along, aswell as those who expressed interest (sorry you couldnt make it), and thanks for the kind words of other members :D
Like i said to the lads who came. "A group hunt is only as good as your group, and we had a GREAT group", Thanx again fellas for making the effort to come along, you're all welcome back anytime ;). Hope to catch up with you all again soon.
Cheers, Cam
