Editing video

I just want to say good on all you blokes that make vids!
I was rained out to day and only had a half day. So I thought I would edit the footage of the buff I shot. It has taken me all day and I only have 5min 45 seconds. I still dont have it looking that great. Haven't even started on the audio. The film is real shaky no tripod and a riffle in the other hand of the cameraman( he did real well considering).So at times I was only using 3 seconds.Bit by bit.
Im not all there with technology.
I was wondering once I finish how to put it on you tube. Any help would be great. I have a MacBook. thanks blokes

in your youtube account there should be a yellow thing saying ''Upload'' or something simular. click that and you should be right from there, dont worry if it takes a while, even with broadband it can take 30+mins to upload a short vid, well with this computer anyway.
