Does anyone use the cheap chinese carbons? I have just ordered some to try as most arrows here are one shot then thats it. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them?? Not sure of what brand.
Also got offered a brand new 08 Bowtech general or other brands for $400.00 seems above board.
I picked up half a dozen as a trial run aswell seem to be holding up ok at the moment, mind you i havn't takin them bush yet.

I dont know much about them I just ordered the heaviest. I wont know much till early next week when I confirm the order. There are different weights etc I was just going to get some and try them out. If I sold them they would be about $3-4 ea I dont even know if they are fletched or not or inserts or anything. When I know more I will post details.

The Chinese or Taiwanese carbons at the shop in Katherine have plastic inserts that are far more likely to fail on a hard hit.

You got offered new bows for $400.00. Mate if it seems to good to be true, it probably is to good to be true. I wouldn't go near them. Just my opinion.

I wouldn't buy them no matter how cheap
If the arrows are quality, I would buy them.

I bought 12 Taiwanese carbons about 2 years ago. The shafts are quite good-not as tough as Gold Tips but they shoot well from my Old Glory and Black Ice. The inserts and vanes are rubbish and have been replaced.
