HI all,

I am looking at getting into the whole back tension release thing to aid in my accuracy. I’m wondering if you can shoot the cater back strap straight off the string?

I currently shoot a truball (just the basic one) without a loop, with a pressure cushion under the nock. This has worked well for me in the past, but now I want to take my shooting to the next level….

Any feed back is appreciated.

Never used the CCP mako 4 finger although it looks top quality. Can guarantee Adam is great to deal with at archerygear.com.au and he will see you right.

James, I have been playing with the Carter B/S of late. Just tried it on the string of my Marquis and found the serving was interfering with the closing of the hook.
Dont have any trouble with the D Loop.
I think you would get torque between the string and the release if you did not use a loop, plus the sting would wear out alot quicker.
hope that helps buddy
