goulburn area

i was just wondering what sort of game you get in the goulburn area :?: :D

Bobzilla,

I grew up in Goulburn so know the area pretty well, Mostly only small game locally, though there are a few fallow to the north. There are also some pigs about, but they seem to move about the district a fair bit, and cop a flogging from the local doggers, better off to head either braidwood way or out past Taralga. Goats wise, again a few around Taralga ( two less after the group hunt on the weekend!!) and also some out in the gorge country past Bungonia. Oh yeah and dont forget the fallow around Bungendore.

I've done most of my hunting around the Goulburn area and i really enjoy the area. The property i took the boys to on the weekend has heaps of goats, not long ago it held quite a few pigs aswell as foxes,rabbits, cats and dogs. The best part is we found fallow rubs, and possibly a rusa rub on the same weekend...

thanks guys thats good to hear i was just hopeing their is some small to mid size piges and some rabits there.
i will let all of you no how i went when i get back on tuesday :D

well i got back today and all i saw was 1 little pig (out of range) lots of rabits got 3 and 2 foxes got a shot at 1 but did not get to retreat him :D
