I am back after a few days hunting and we had a ball.I got my first longbow goat and shot about six goats and a pig with the Switchback
so I am wrapped.I have a couple of pics to put up with some more to
come one is a pic of a goat I stalked up to about 3 mtrs with it in a tree
it was so funny I took a pic instead of a bow shot.

Thanks Maka yer goat numbers are right up there and they are in great shape but this place does not get the real big horns of other areas.
The Swithback is a very devastating hunting tool and after a few kills and some meat for the esky I went over to the longbow. It was unreal I got into about 15 mtrs on a mob of mainly nannies and then a mob of billies turned up and walked past at about THREE mtrs but things went down hill from there so I have no photos to show of that one.
After that I went back to the compound and took a billy at 48 mtrs after the first shot seemed a bit less than perfect and after finding him he was the best one taken to date.

Well done mate, not a bad billy.

Good fun hunting goats and even better getting up close that you can reach out and touch them.
