quivers

what do you guys prefer back quivers, hip quiver, bow quivers etc.
i used to hunt with a bow quiver but have gone back to the good ol' back quiver.
what do you like and why?

yes i also use a bow quiver because it is too hard to use any other types ( back / hip ect...) because the scrub is always too thick and if you used them you would only loose your arrows at my hunting grounds.

if i hunted the flood plains on occasion then i would also get a hip quiver , because it would make the bow a bit lighter for the perfect shot on that big old boar.

i guess you guys have a point, i still have bow quiver and the mount is on the bow because i use it for target shooting, but i guess i'll have to take it out next time i go hunting and see what i think.

hey mate i use a back quiver because i hunt where it gets pretty windy and mostly open, the wind catches your bow too much with a bowquiver. I cant stand having more weight on my bow than is possible. I am thinking about a hip quiver to.

i use a bow quiver because it came on my bow but i also have a hip quiver for target
p.s. macka hip quivers catch the wind more then the bow quivers just to let you no :D

Yeah but just so you know when your hip quiver catches the wind it does not make your bow sway from side to side :wink:
