Went out this morning for a look down the lake and ended up with 6 rippers. 2 of them are now in the garden and doing some good for my vegie crop this year :)

you use them as fertiliser?

You bet.
They are buried about 10-12" down in the soil (that is 12" of soil on top of them) and you can plant tomatoes and peppers or beans etc' right on top of them.
They provide just the right mix of elements to produce big fruit, and lots of them.

Great pics mate, how is your reel etc all set up.How have you hooked your arrow up to the line?

I tried a reel etc many years ago and the arrow got caught up somehow and I wore the shaft down the side of my face.I can tell you it hurt bad, haven't been game to ever try it again.

This is all too common and can lead to very serious injury.
You need to set up the arrow so the string can never come in contact with the fishing line and so the line is always in front of the reel.
