If you check any topics with Bowcomp in the title you will find out more info but here is the gist of it...

As you know I run Bowhunting Safaris...Well each year I will be running a Bowhunting Competition up the Cape.

At this stage it is for 10 hunters (5 teams of 2)
For 10 days (9 hunting Days & 1 fishing day)

Cost this year was $1000-00 per person unfortunately it looks like cost will go up to $1100-00 next year....Negoitations with owner to continue, also cost of Scrub Bulls will most likely go to $750-00 per Bull.

As it is a competition I will be suppling all the Food and Accomodation atthe property for the event. Along with all the planning and prizes. have had a great response from Sponsors these being this year, Woody's Outbacks, Eagle Archery Brisbane & Channel Canvas in Tassie. I hope sponnors will grow and the event become permanant. Bowcomp 2006 is currently booked out as well.

If I can stretch it I will be intorducing and extra team to make 6 teams but hopefully one team will be a international Team.

Each Team must have their own vehicle and fuel..I have guys who fly into Townsville for the Comp and hook-up with a predetermined partner so you don't have to have a vehicle or a partner to get involved.

We work it out.

I some cases hunters may have to hire a vehicle and this would be the case for any overseas competitors.

Mate I hope this helps out.

I will be calling for competitors early next year for 2007 Comp. The Comp will be the last hunt for the year up the cape and will be held in Mid to late October.

Coach the reason they are going up is because they are getting up to $1000-00 each for them so I'm trying to compromise the price on the ground..

And you obviously havn't hunted a Scrub Bulls before they are as dangerous as Buffalo....Buffalo are generally domestic as well you know.

Just a little info for you..

Thanks Mick.

Price sounds reasonable to me especially if you got amongst some huge boars.
