hey all

well its the saturday pickup day when you put out your unwanted goods out on the street to be collected , i noticed that next door they had a heap of that protective foam stuff from the side of a trampalene , straight away i thought SCORE .
i went and got it just for the backing of my target in the yard , but figured hey i could make a cool box target like the BLOCK. :D :D :D
well i cut it to size and taped it together and painted the face black with a white dot , its awsome and works really wel 8) l , stops the arrows nicely , will test broadheads in it soon .

will take a pic and post it as soon as dad comes back from melborne with the camera.

Hm i use the expansion joint rubber / foam that brickies use, i cut it into 800mm strips and then place them on the floor, apply some contact adheasive and then glue the next layer of strips accross the frist layer until i have a block ablut 8" thick.
I find it works great and i only pay for the glue as i scab the expansion joint from jobs i'm working on.

Takes a bit of time to build but as i get more expansion joint material i just add it onto the front or back of the target

I use square gym mats from WA salvige $32 for 8 mats and it works very well, I made the frame at work.
