I swapped a dozen Gold Tips for a dozen Whitetails and I gotta say they are a very good shaft.
Equal or slightly more consistant than the Gold Tips in grouping.
Haven't had a chance to hunt with them yet.

I personally really like the whitetails, my only complaint is the crud inside the shafts, I made up 5 doz of the 65/80 with the yellow printing on them and some of them varied more than 35gr between shafts due to this crud inside them.
So a .22 cleaning rod was taken to them all.
Now they come in around the 2 to 3 gr difference bare .
Just received another 20 doz much cleaner this time can't say there is any cracking etc but some funny looking marks around the insert end. ( but cant see anything to worry about , is weird looking though )
But I am having a hard time weaning myself of the Gold tips love my Gold tips never had a bad one "Ever"....
Trying some Cheetah 3D pro's soon will be interesting to see how they scoot and group !
$87.00 for the Whitetails this time round is good buying ! I think one is doing well to make a Doz good hunting arrows for under $100.00 and this can be done with the Whitetails easy !

Broadheads are extra now ! :P how about a Nice Doz G5 Montecs then ?? think there around $25 bucks each now ! $300 worth for a Doz , I allways wonder who the flip buys them things ?
Please Note for $100.00 broadheads not included    :P

The latest issue of Bowhunting down under has CT whitetails advertised for $65.00 again.
Last time they were advertised at this price they told me it was a printing mistake and the magazine told me they print the ad how it is supplied to them.
Has the price been reduced ?
or is it false advertising ?
Mate i won't buy from them only because of what has been done !

Prices are sometimes good, but service and stock on hand, not so good. They dont really care ,I think.
As long as we keep buying......

I would have to disagree on the Service Statement from Archery Supplies, they have always been first class in my view !
As for Supply of goods, the Manufactures them self's play a huge rolls in the delay process, with CT arrows for a long while there they could not buy Carbon stock which is used in the manufacture of carbon arrows due to Mr Bush's sandpit games and the requirements of the US military for Carbon stock.
I have never experienced the cracking or thinness issues with any CT arrow as yet only some weird markings which don't seem to effect the Quality, keep in mind that AS were selling the CT whitetail seconds just like GT do, for $45.00
As for price the Whitetails are RRP of bare shafts with nock and insert $75.00 per Doz the Cheetah is $88.00 per Doz, Rhinos $108.00, Safaris $171.00. then there is the Pro Series which are a bitmore expensive then the Nasties called the MK 2's which are the ones John west rejects !
But for cheap bunny arrows they are OK !
Bang for buck the Whitetails are great for the money and I most certainly wouldn't hold up the white flag in the Quality department just yet !
I have worked up over 40 Doz of these shafts and apart from the crud inside some of the early ones they have been great shooters !
My 2 bobs worth !

Thats the RRP ! after that it all changes ! I think the Average price is around the $85.00 for a Doz ! would that be right ?
Check out the prices in the US on CT web site if you want shock value !!
$75.99 per Doz US shipped ($100.00 plus ) thats between $110-$120.00 per doz by the time they get here !

But I agree they should fix their Addvertised price though !

Mate i not concerned about the price just the false / misleading advertising thats my complaint. They know about the ad as i spoke to them about it several months ago and still no change i think that says it all.
