Gaday fella's...After shooting only my recurves for a while I got out my compounds for a few shots and I had forgotton how heavy they where to hold..My newest one is a Darton Typhoon and it's the heaviest,my older one being a Proline and is quite a bit lighter than the Typhoon...They both have all the whisltes and bells and was wondering if anyone has compared the different brands with regards to weight as I might have to sell mine and re-invest in a lighter bow...
Regards...Sparra

Sparra, I had exactly the oposite reaction when picking up a friends 55# compound - laughed so hard I had to let it down :) first time I ever shot one. A bit of an advantage if you need to hold at full draw for a while, but not such a positive feel as trad.

Ed I think he's refering to the actual physical weight of the bow snot the draw weights.
