Could someone tell me appx. how many fps is lost for every inch under 30 your draw length is? I have heard 15,8 and 4. Or perhaps someone could tell me where I might be able to look it up?
Thanks

Its roughly 5 fps per inch of string travel on the same bow.

ie. IBO 30" @ 70# = 325fps
29" @ 70# = 320fps

I got this info from a us forum site at the same time got this other info as well

1" of arrow length = 5# dynamic spine when using the correct arrow for your weight

25 to 35 gr point weight = 5# dynamic spine depending on cams

Is this with the same arrows, or with correspondingly shorter (and of course lighter) arrows?

it would be with the same arrows as I found out when I chronyed 30" arrows shot at 29" draw and then at 30" when I was setting up my slayr

So if the 25" arrows weighed the same as the 30" it would be just as fast?
Try not to laugh :) Im just trying to figure this out.

From my experience, I find it about 10ft per in., 4ft for a loop,5ft for a peep.

I know that speed doesnt mean anything if you cant hit what your aiming at. That wasnt the reason for this question. My curiosity was the reason. Someone told me something, I then heard 3 diffrent versions so I wanted to check it out. Thats all... simple curiosity.Thankyou to everyone for your help.
