I cannot wait to get my hands on the smooth cam for the Allegiance (I donÃ*t like the hard draw cycle on mine!)

Thanks for the info mate!

See ya Pete.

What do you mean by the hard draw cycle Pete ? Do you mean that it is harder to draw at the same poundage as your old bow ,, or is it not smooth ?

It has a terrible draw cycle as it loads to a massive wall them lets go in the last one of two inches max, not smooth at all IMO, my Darton is ten times smother to draw.

I ran them side by side today, and the Darton which is 4 years old was the pick.

I shot the same arrows with B/H (Rhinos with 125g B/H) the Allegiance was set at 79 lbs and the Darton at 81lbs the Darton was 280 fps and the BowTech was only 5 fps quicker! Take in the pound different and you could say the BowTech would only become 4 to 5 FPS quicker at the same poundage but with a terrible draw cycle IÃ*m sticking to my Darton at this point.

See ya Pete.

youre not the only one I have heard say this Pete . What about the noise and shock factor?
I think if both bows were the same poundage , there would be stuff all difference in speed.
Its a shame you didnt like it . The Single cams were really smooth and easy IMO .

The noise factor is questionable, it seams a little nosy actually, but the accuracy, and hand shock and craftsmanship it top rate, the only thing that IMO ruins the whole bow is the Draw cycle (smooth it is not!) but apparently there new cam coming out in Nov that will solve the problem. The cams will be a little slower but then with a smooth draw cycle and the low to no hand shock the old Darton I think I will then be retired, but till then, next month I have top end boars and bulls to finish off her excellent career!

See ya Pete.

Hood.

I dont have any pics yet but will post them when I get them.

There is also different camo's this year apart from the Mossy Oak Obsession you have a choice of Advantage Max4, Realtree Hardwoods HD, or Realtree HD Green.

Unfortunately no ASAT

I dont know if the custom camo is going to cost more but I am trying to find out.
