would a camo pack be use full in hunting situation?

Camo pack is some kind of backpack cover but it's has lots of leafy (burlap) hanging of it. Like a ghillie suit but this to cover your back pack.
Cost somewhere around $30 to $60 + shipping (depending on the size)

Thanks

Hi mate welcome aboard. This piece of equipment would definatly be useful but IMO would definatly not be a nececity. Anything to break up your outline is good but alot of people dont bother with camo.

Hello again everyone!

Here I managed to take acouple of pictures of what I was talking about.

Please let me know what you think. Feedback, criticism, suggestions, ideas are more than welcome guys.

I make this gear myself with the idea that I'm trying to get some money so I can continue doing my archery. It's abit hard to get some archery gear when you only do little part time job with a baby in the family and a wife  .

so here we go, my wife kindly model it for me. if you wish to order please give me a PM.

The base of camo pack is a very strong black industrial strength netting which allows us to insert natural vegetation you can find in the environment to enhance the blending process to the actual nature.

thank you

Looking forward to hearing your feedback.

Arda

Great stuff, but be carefull about how much "camo" you put into it. If you start sticking leafy branches and stuff into it you will just make yourself into a bigger "thing" in the bush that moves and catches the critters attention.
Make each of those swatches of material only about 1/2 or 1/4 what they are now and they will still break up your shape, but they will be less bulky and less likely to catch the animals eye when you have to move.

The whole gillie suit thing works really well for people who can just stay still to do the job, but bowhunters have to move to finish their buisness and staying as small as you can is a help.

Is it a hassle to get to zips, there's nothing worse then, when your trying to get something out of your pack in a hurry, with out making a noise.
I think a suit like that would be cool.

Another thing you will have to consider is the type of bush you will be hunting in.
Do you have blackberries or lantana (or any other snaggy type scrub) in your hunting area? Your pack will be like a magnet for that stuff and you will soon get sick of it.
I have an ASAT 3d suit and it is pretty slick and won’t snag on tea tree and such, but it seems to have a love affair with blackberries, and I can’t walk past a patch without snagging the mesh.
Maybe it is just my size, but I spend a lot of time thinking on issues like this.

The camopack has elastic cord on the edges, so it is kind of wraping the bag.
if you need to reach into the bag you can just pull the camopack do what you need to do.

I have 3 suits made just like that if anyone interested.
it is made from the same material(options: 100% burlap, 50% burlap 50% polyester, 100% ployester). The mesh size on the netting is about 3/4 inch and it's is a very strong netting (not made of anti-bird netting).

if anyone is interested, I'd be happy to send the pics.

Here we go guys

Pic1 (this suit is the one that you see on the picture above in the field.
http://people.aapt.net.au/~csarjito/suit1.jpg

Pic2 (this is the one that full burlap string - NOT Strips)
http://people.aapt.net.au/~csarjito/suit2.jpg

Pic3 (this is the one with 50% burlap and 50% polyester)
http://people.aapt.net.au/~csarjito/suit3.jpg

Those suits are full suit and can be customised for archery or bow hunting purposes as I'm aware that bow hunters might wonder if they will be catching on the bow string.

Or if you have any ideas or design of your own, I would be more than happy to discuss it.

Any questions please don't hasitate to ask.

regards,
Arda
