Sometimes you can be lucky. Ran into an old school mate last week and took him out fishing on Friday. Found out that for about ten years he was working on stations up in the gulf, obviously asked the question and he is coming around with a few phone numbers for the properties. Told him to use my phone to call up and set up access. Hopefully will be getting up there in June/July...

Thanks Hood, the mate was telling one of the properties borders the NT and has buff on it. Not to interested in them just yet till my own skills come up a bit more but the idea of boares, bara and muddies sound real fine for a week or two....Cheers..Scott

HM, could be not sure of the property names yet. Old mate was working in the Doomadgee area, and to luck out he has a number of contacts up there for me.

You never know when and where property access can come from. I started a new job about 1 months ago and 1 of the guys there is a leading member of the Australian Deer Assoc. and reckons he can get me onto some top deer properties.. needless to say i'm 1 happy chappy :D
