Well, just back from two weeks in the Cape with Southy, and to say we had an exciting trip is an understatement. We were hunting some land a couple of hundred K's north of the bowcomp boys and watched a few storms pass to the south which played havoc with thier hunt by the sound of it.

All up we got 13 boars, 2 scrub bulls, 8 barra, the mother of all saratoga, a few catties, one brumbie and a cat.

Some of the better pics are below

What a great trip mate, some top photos.

Awesome, just awesome ....

That is a ripper 'toga mate. I lost one bigger in corroboree billabong n.t. , well my mate lost it, he was hooked up to it, i just helped to release it by knocking the lure out of its mouth while trying to net it  and no, he still hasnt forgiven me

Well done!

Cheers, Cam

Well done fella's..I thought there were a few more going up than just the 2 of you...Maxy,if your skills on the video camera are the same as Pauls there will be some excellent footage to watch....and I hope Southy didn't trick you into drinking too much with his "one more wouldn't hurt"line...

Thanks for the compliments guys

Jindy,
The land we hunted was free to hunt through a contact, all we had to do in return was take a few pigs back into town for the locals, which were very well recieved. We didnt really get too much direction other than " you can hunt from here to here, check out this creek, the boars will be where the water is" so it took us a few days to work out the best locations - just makes it all the more rewarding i guess.

Sparra,
Yeah we were going to catch up with a few other mates who went up the week before but i got an offer of an overseas trip at work that was too good to pass up so we moved our trip back a week, We did get some reasonable footage, though we were pretty keen to get pigs on the ground in lue of good vid, got the buildup to two scrubbers having a blue which was pretty cool, puts the wind up you a bit i can tell you!!, as for Pauls "one more beer wont hurt" line, well i've fallen for that one before so the hangovers were kept to a minimum.

Mick,
I was hoping to catch up with you guys, but between rainstorms, and a heap of car dramas, it just didnt seem to happen. The bloke at Hann river roadhouse told us you had all travelled trhough there on your way home the day before, so we didnt miss you by much!!

Cheers
