Hey well 80m from my house i have a small warren of holes with a good dozen locals. there is a big tree about 5m away from the holes and i have a nice brance i can sit on there. Tonite i sat up there for about half an hour and had 3 bunnies pretty much running around underneath me. I was waiting for a bigger one but when it started getting dark i picked the closest and shot him while he was unaware from 3m. I find this is a really good way to get REAL close to the rabbits and found it really exciting having them playing in front of me unaware of my presence. Here's the one i got tonite. P.s thanx to that other thread i used my 50m pin :D

Anyone else use this method for small game. I think for goats and deer the stalk and approach meathod is always more of a thrill but for rabbits it is too good.

To get sight of the bunnies on my property i sat up about 4 meters in a gum tree and just waited and sure enough an hour or so before dusk afew showed up. Works like a treat being up high.

i used the 50m pin because from 3m the arrow would shoot about 4 inches low because the arrow hasnt got up to that level of site yet. 50m pin is closer but not spot on.
