ok lets clear this up once and for all wat birds are u allowed to shoot with a bow in australia iv wanted to know for adges :(

All Australian birds and animals are protected. Some may be shot in certain circumstances and the rules for those birds are set out in legislation. Examples of this would be ducks.
Feral birds are fair game, but then you may run into the cruelty regulations. You can happily sling arrows at pigeons or sparrows, but you risk having to justify your tool of choice to a judge if someone takes exception to your activities.
Convention would be a good place to start and we have all seen that arrows are more than capable of taking turkeys so you would have little problem with that, but start wing shooting pigeons and you could expect the attitude of the RSPCA inspector to change.

R crows allowed 2 be shot as theres about a 10000 here and sum 1 said theres a fine if u shoot them????

yes thats wat else i was gonna find out if u can shoot crows i think u need a permit to do it and u can only use a gun :(
We get lots of starling around my place around harvest and i always used to nock them off the water's or out the tree's with my air rifle but i got a few with the bow last year. Harder than it sounds. I dont know any other hunting though that you could have about 50 shots in an arvo.
