Removing/re-attaching those stick-on Limbsavers?

Has anyone had any success in doing the above? I suspect that it is'nt possible,but I'd be interested to see if it could be done.

You'll also find that eucalyptus oil works a treat in removing the gum residue.

I used to make my own, by punching two different plugs out of foam, and stiching them togeather and to the bow with silicon, worked well. they even gave me a couple more fps. out of my PSE Mach 8.

my limb savers fell of one day at the bow club on a really hot day the sticky stuff must have melted a bit. i tried double sided tape but they fell of. i didnt want to glue them on as i wouldnt be able to get them back off if without damaging the paint and i also dont like the idea of gluing stuf to my bow.
