Just want to share my recent experience mate.

I tried the demo bow (may be 2 arrows) and I decided to take it.

try it before you buy if you can

Dave,

I sold my Ultra 2 and bought a Switchback, man they are quiet, fast, smooth and very nice all-round.

If you go to www.bowsite.com and look up the head to head tests they did this year you will see how 8 different bows compare. Very interesting reading...and yes the Switchback won hands down!!!!!!!!!

Take no notice of the handle, took my switchy for a ride yesterday, 50 yards, 62 pounds, crappy 65-85 satilite carbons, shot flat and smooth and hit the target I was aiming at, and puched a good 5 inches into an iron bark tree. Best things since slice bread, which makes me wonder what they used to say before bread was sliced...........
Ps i better make note it was on the 3rd attempt 8)

Im thinking about buying a switchback after hearing all these great reviews. I had a quick look on the net and found this, although im not sure if the price is right?? (their price versus the rec.retail price :? )

I own a Switchback, I also own a Hoyts Turbotec, I love them both, but if I had to choose, I'd keep the Turbotec, because of its speed ,accuracy and grunt.smoothness does'nt count for much, apart from being nice to shoot, they both hit the spot for me.In saying that I still think the Switchback is a great bow.
