Went last weekend deer hunting again we got near we tracked a large stag for about 1km got to our pig spot saw a pig sunck round to get a better view and a black fallow filled the binoculars me and tim snuck up on him and they walked off when i looked back down the hill were we where no less than 5 minutes before a young red spiker was standing he looked at us got spooked went out straight and did the bolt. when we got to where the deer where me and tim split up i walked up the hill and tim walked down a boar ran off out of a bush followed by two pigletts but i looked and on the next hill there where 2 horses thats what i fuaght and about 15 20 fallow stuff the pigs i knew where i was going the two hores turned out to be red deer they got spooked at 30m's and ran i went down the hill arrowed my first boar un fortunatly he ran into a black berrie bush and was un recoverable tim arrowed a smaller pig and it did the same thing saw about five more deer closest we got was 30m .
Hey sounds like an amazing day. Do the deer still have antlers over there? i would have thought they hav cast. badluck about the boar.

ben couldn't come out hunting with michael and i so we just went up by our selves. as we came over the top of a hill we decided 2 follow the base of the hill 2 the end of the range. we crossed over the first creek and i saw a large fallow buck run off from about 20 yards, i could see that he had fairly large antlers so we followed him to the next creek and sat down and observed him from 50 yards. after about 15 or 20 mins i had a shot at him but the arrow just dropped short from his shoulder.
he ran off up the creek and then out with another larger buck!
we then could not get in range of the bucks so we had 2 let them go. :D
