fletching

i was just wondering if any body on here has tryed putting 5 5inch vains on a arrow :?: i tryed this when i was trying to work out how to use my fletching jig and to my suprise the arrow flys twise as fast as the arrow with 3 vains. why would this be :?: :D

Mate did you use a Chrony to establish they twice as fast?
If not it would be interesting to do the test
I would have thought more fletching = more drag = less speed

twice as fast - i doubt that very much. maybe your arrows flew straighter therefore seemed faster............... tuning issues?

i did not mean twise as fast it was egzadgerated but it did seem to fly heeps faster then the others
