need more info mate. is it a recurve, longbow or compound?
whats your draw length and weight at that length?

as for those axis shafts, well i've heard they are a great shaft, but there are a lot of shafts that are cheaper and probably just as good.

Mitch, I shoot the axis shafts and i love em :)
I shoot a 70 pound compound and use the 300s, assuming you are shooting a compound and depending on your draw length I would say the 340s would be right for you.
You would be best off checking the easton website to work out which is best

Mitch,

I use the Beman" Black Max's" Just a little lighter than Axisss, but same company ,size, HIT and a little cheaper. Small diameter. "Gold Tips"are ok too. Fatter, as strong, and cheaper!!
Thats my 10 cents. (My 2 cents is free.)

Mate go to the Easton website http://www.eastonarchery.com/products.asp?show=chartsSelectors , they have a simulator where you put in all your bow specs and it will tell you what arrow weight to use. It also has heaps of other useful info.

Then worry about brands later.

Cheers, Dave
