ALLOY OR CARBON? I WISH TO USE THEM FOR HUNTING DEAR.WHAT IS A GOOD BROD HEAD FOR LARGE GAME. :?:

Easton 2216 X75 would be a good choice with Woody's Outback Supremes 130g broardheads.

Nothing to do with sponsers as I am nothing to do with the admin of this site. It is a tried and tested combination of knowledge from the people of the industry that have proven this a reliable combination.
Any 2 blade broadhead that will group with field points will work just as well and the crossbow sharfts that Easton make are 2117, 2216 and 2219.
2117 good for 150lb, 2216 good for 150 to 185lb and 2219 good for 195 to 225lb crossbows.
This is a general guide for the crossbowers out there.

I use alloy bolts for hunting and carbons for target but that is only my preference. Most crossbow hunters use alloy bolts but in America there are more and more using carbons.
