I would like to know what Grain my Bolts must be in order to Shoot my Crossbow safly and effectivly. I Shoot a Horton XL 175#

Also, how do i work out the grains of a bolt? :roll:
Do i Also add the weight of a fielt tip or the Broadhead? or just the Bolt?
Thies simply things can effect the bows proformance gratly and id like to have the confidince that im using the correct Bolts for the job. :twisted:

Jay Look at the Easton web site there is charts for worknig out what will suit your needs

G'day Jay,

The minimum mass weight for a crossbow bolt is 350g and a 175lb crossbow should be using 2216 Eastons or the minimum would be 2117 Easton in xx75(eg Gamegetter II)
