Does anybody know if the 2005 Hoyt bow strings and cables are any better then the older ones of a couple of years ago???????

the strings have been the same on on the past few models. l have taken mine off and replaced then with custom strings from winners choice. :)
What was wrong with the old ones?
Well if thats the case, I won't have to worry about changing my draw length
I couldn't find a single thing on the Hoyt web site that says anything about the string and cables or what material is being used for them. :x
I asked this question as I'm looking at buying a new bow and might be getting another Hoyt. If the price is right   ah Kim.

HOOD,
definatly get yourself a 05 HOYT, they are great and even better to shoot than the 04 model. 8)
coach explained what was wrong with the old ones :!:
Hood,
I still have the stock strings on my 04 X-Tec, they stretched pretty bad during the first 500 shots but have stabilised well since then.
If you know how to tune your bow and are happy to do it fairly regularly the standard strings are not a problem.

My '04 strings and cables are better than the ones on the '01.
Just adjusted the AtA and timing on the Ultratec, will have to wait to see if the standard strings are worth keeping as it is only three months old.
I make my own strings so if there is undue stretch I will make a set out of BCY 450.
Like the look of the original strings, though.
Well I'll guess I'll have to wait and see what happens once I get my new bow.

Coach,
Twice a year is fairly regular. So far I have only had to tune it twice, once when I got it and once when I had let the intital stretch happen.. I have checked it again but everything is still all in time.
