A fun day in the Snowy Mountains

Mozza and I went out on Friday for a bit of a scout around. We found plenty of older pig sign and a pig trap that looked to have been fed in well, but we didn’t manage to find any of the pigs. We had a huge thunderstorm dump some big water on us and we got to take a few shots at some bunnies, and we had some fun calling in a young fox.
The hunting gods must have been toying with us because even though we had a great day, we didn’t shoot a thing.

Here is mozza about to release an arrow at one of those blessed rabbits that live in the high country…

A few of us are going up again on Sunday for a few days and hopefully we will have more success.

I was very glad I was invited along :)
Mozza has invited a few blokes for this next hunt and I am sure someone will nail one of those rabbits.
We saw a lot of pig sign during the day, and if the hunting gods allow it we might get a chance at collecting one next trip.

If you have a thumb drive, bring it with you when you come around later in the week.
If not, you can wait till after the hunt and I can burn it, and all that I take on the hunt, on a CDrom

Nice pic Jindy! I don't know if I have any rabbit genes in me but it took me awhile to spot Mozza in that pic :shock: - I think I'll go get my eyes checked!

Nice photo Jindy. I have taken heaps of rabbit's in the Snowy's, it is truly a great place to hunt ,must go back there this year and see if i can nail another Fallow.
