I would like to replace my string as it is fraying and flufing up. I will wax the string and 20 -30 shots later it starts again. What string matieral would you recomend to stop this.

I agree with Coach, I have a Hoyt and had problems with the standard string so changed to the BCY 452x and have not had a problem with it at all. (besides my top limb breaking  no fault of teh string)

I make my own strings so have had an opportunity to try a few materials.

The BCY 450+ is the best I have used so far but all the BCY 450-452 materials are excellent.

Try 8125 material.
This is the fastest material and stretch and creep are almost non existant. It wears very well too.
This is the material that the custom string makers are using also.

Go with 450/452 (452 is half the thickness of 450 PLus and requires more strands. Otherwise the same material)
8125 is good, but you will require a stretch in period.
Wasn't impressed with TS-1 on my Bowtech coach, replaced it with 452x and the bow is shooting heaps better.

D-75 = worst compound string material EVER!
