Well i have been collecting all the feathers i can find around home and my cousins and i cut a heap of fletches out of them. It is then just a case of sorting out colours and trying to get two the same and one different. Here is the first arrow i fletched with some cut feathers.

I have fletched another 4 since then and now have a set for the curve. I really like the natural look of the feathers and i dont think i will worry about dieing the white ones. Will have to see how they handle blood 2mora i hope

thats awsome mate - they look as good as a store-bought feather. i reckon a white cock feather is a good idea anyways - easy to see. are they chook feathers? if you could get some goose feathers and do the same thing they'd make great all-weather arras, since they shed water really well. store bought ones dont do that.
:D

Yeah i dont mind at all if i get them bloody

Yeah brian i have one arrow with goose feathers on. My uncle has about 40 gees and when he kills a few next he's going to save me all the feathers so i should be set then :D

Hey thanx yeah mozza they shoot great! I got my first trad billy with them and they shoot good through the compound to. The arrow i took the billy with had a hunter on it as it was for my compound and didnt notice until i pulled the arrow out. It diddnt quite penetrate the other side from 5m. But thats a hunter. I'm sure the supremes will give better penetration.

Piggy its a 5" shield shape chopper. Its called LITTLE CHOPPER.

And my dad got it for me through the net from townsvile indore archery centre.

Phone num. 0747240400 or 0747287222

Hope this helps. Its a block with a hunge and the blade os on top you place the stripped feather in and while its straight you hit the top with a rubber mallet. It comes with all sorts of shapes but i just went for the shield because i liked the shape.
