im thinking of getting mini limb savers for my quiver , and sum leeches for my cable.

i already have sum leeches on my string and limbsavers on my limbs , but want to cut down on as much noise and vibration that i can.

is it worth it?

any other ideas.

I dont think you need them HM, if you ended up getting the mathews quiver they already have harmonic dampers built into them and in my opinion are quiet enough. I have put the string leeches on my bow though

You could save lot of dough with trad, only one string to by silencers for.
Don't wanna talk about anything that will hurt my feelings about trad gear. :D

H.Man what Mathews did you get and do you know how to check the cable length and does it have the string suppressors if so are they chewing out????????.Lots of questions but I may be able to help you if it is a bit noisy.I shoot a Switchback and am told at the range all the time it is the quietest bow people havent heard.

it is quiet as i have said before (mathews ICON ) but was just wondering how quiet i could get it

Mate if you look on the cam you will find two small holes that if you draw a straight line through these holes they should be parralel with the bow string.What you will prob find is that if the cable has stretched the holes will be on a slight angle to the string.If you take the cable off and add a twist or two it will bring the cam back in time.Make sure you back off the limbs before putting the bow in the press.

are these the two hloes you talked about kim , the top hole is sorta pointing away from the string and the bottom pointing towards it .

It must be the pic mate but that looks more like the wheel and not the cam but yes it is those small holes they need to line up with the string.
That is the system with the other mathews but I will check with the tech
guys tonight.

yes it is the cam , today i gave the string a few twists and it made no diference , will do the cable tomorrow !!

Mate you should be able to see in your mind what will happen to the cam if you twist the cable and if this will line up the holes with the string.

I do see that coach but on the pics I have of the Icons they all have a diff cam settup to the pic so mabey it is older than I thought.
