what is brace height?

can any of you guys help me with what brace height is? diagrams would be helpful.

From your bow string to your grip where the web between your thumb and index finger would sit.

That's what I measure anyway.

yep - timbos on to it - also its measured at right-angles to the string. and yes to the deepest part of the "throat" of the grip.
