Hi all. I am fairly new to this sight, and was just wanting some info. I posted a couple threads on here back in October before I moved to WA from the states. Well I spent about 3 months in Karratha, and although found alot of guys who liked to fish, didn't find any hunters. I am back in the states as of now, just finished up a Hog hunt in Texas. I will be back in Port Hedland around the 7th of Feb. I will be back to stay for a while.

Just wondering about the pig hunting (or anything really) around the De Gray river system, and the Fortescue? I plan to be in this area for the next several years working. So I am very anxious to find some game to stalk. I love pig hunting, and would like to get into some goats too. I hear there are some around Carnarvon. I have met a friend who's family owns a large sheep station north of Kalgoorlie. But thats a bit far for a weekend trip. Any help or info would be appreciated. Hope to make some new friends and hunting buddies on this side of the globe.

Cheers, Butch

HI Butch

Although I live in Perth now I have spent a lot of time in and around Kalgoorlie and can say that the goat hunting is dam good, and would say take some time off work to go hunting. :D :D

hey Butch

i can tell you that where you will be staying is pritty much the best "central" point for hunting it WA there are pigs only a hop, skip and a jump north from ya   and goats, donkeys and camels south - south east from there... not to mention the fishing too 8) 8)

good luck. Ben

Hey Butch, Im generally only a few hours from you in karratha.
I have permission to a few areas near you that we could hunt when you have the chance, plus some freaky good fishing all over that area.

drop me aline on day mate.
