hunting the brisbane surrounds

Howdy all,

I'm fairly new to the site and I'm curious to know if anyone else on here knows of any good spots to hunt fairly close to Brisbane (for a more casual trip -ie- an afternoon as opposed to a longer, camping trip)
and what you would target there?
I have a few different connections for trips further out west but just thought I'd see if there is anything close by.

I had some great mornings at rochedale on the sth side at a vegie farm chasing rabbits ,hares and foxes. but thats being sold now and turned into houses..
working on some turf farms now they are keen for you to knock off hares and rabbits...
Its not big game but great for honning your skills and a feed for the pot..
there is a couple of ideas try turf farms around the gatton area, not far to drive and plenty of game...
let me know how you go..
