btw, I think right handed shooters should shoot in the traditional "left hand" fashion...

based on the fact that for steadiness the most important arm is the bow arm and surely our dominant arm would be able to be controlled better by us than our non bow arm....

so why do right handers hold a bow in their left hand?

Right handed. My son is left handed but shoots right handed and is left eye dominant! No wonder he finds it hard. :lol:
I guess most shooters are right eye dominant and therefore draw with their right hand so that they knock on the same side as their dominant eye? Just a guess though.

im right handed but left eye dominant so i shoot bow left handed but i can shoot both rifle and bow with both hands just as good :D

I use a bow right handed a knife left handed i write LH, hold a cricket bat RH and swing a golf club LH :?

My left arm is strongest and right eye dominent, which makes it nice for holding my bow steady longer.
