i have mucked around with 1 when someone at my club years ago did the same. Found it very hard to pick up in bright light especially through a peep and very hard to control movement as you will see at 30m that dot moves a mile and is hard to keep steady.

You are wasting your time putting a peep on a bow while shooting with a red dot scope. The dot is self centering and when your eye is off the line of the shot the dot moves with it.
Personaly I wouldn't bother with it as you will only have one aiming point and then you will have to guess the other points for the various ranges. That and the fact you need batteries with most of them take them too far from the point of archery for me to bother with.

Best of luck with it anyway

Hey I have done the same but I did it with one of those little laser pointers. It took a lot of mucking around to get right and I had it so the clamp screwed into the stabiliser thread/hole. I had it set to 20m but the way I had it set up if I was out by even a metre from 20m it would miss. I managed to get a rabbit right on evening one night; I had to take 3 paces back 2 judge 20m lol. I used a bit of elastic to hold the button in. pretty simple but it worked. Note the crappy (first bow) I had.

Hey how do you know about that jeff. lol it was posted on Monday and will take 7 to 10 days I just cant wait that long tho... My bow at the moment is a Pearson I picked it up at a second hand store. It has been very good but is a little heavy foe me. And I like the look of a small 32«É˘, which is a little smaller than my 40 inch Pearson. I have herd bow techs are a good brand what do u guys think of them any1 shoot one?
