advice

gday i need advice to put a picture on my avatar my pic are 720 kb and i reduced them to 129 and i cant reduce them anymore i think does anyone know how to reduce them more?

What you need to do is host your picture/avatar iin photobucket.com or similar site, then copy the [img] link and paste it in the section of "profile" that reads :

Link to off-site Avatar:
Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image you wish to link to.

Just make sure you reduce your pic in photobucket or else it will be a huge avatar and take up half the screen. I will put together a "avatar for dummies" post shortly as it seems to be a common prob for new members. Just make sure your avatar is tastefull, notice mine is very tasty ;)

You copy the URL line not the [img] line.

Works for me regardless of file size.
