Here's a couple of pics I took when out cutting trails through the lantana late last year. Doesn't it suck when oppurtunities like this arise and you don't have your bow with you. :x I guessed him to be about 27 or 28 inch. The only comfort is that this year he'll be even better and I know where he hangs out.

Nearly makes you want to chase after him, so close yet so far. Nice looking tops on him, looks to be fairly even as well. I bet he will S%@t next time he sees you, with bow in hand.

This guy wasn't toey at all. He hung about for 20 minutes just eating the whole time.
Does anyone else have any tales of when they wish they had their bow with them?
I'm surprised he was that quite, normally down that part of the world if they stick there head out for more than 2min it get blown off!
Yeh I was up at lennox head without my bow and i had woken up early as usual,so while everyone was still sleeping i decided to go for a walk over the back of the hill where the house was and 5 pigs were sniffing around about 50 metres away.
Now my friends no longer live there so i cant go back to try my luck with them
Wow that's a beautiful stag Mate.
Good luck with the pursuit.
